Go Green!

Colour, is one of the most noticeable attributes of the world around us. For small children, understanding colour is an essential building block that they use for learning in all areas of their life. Colour plays an important role in the overall aesthetic of a space.

With this in mind ‘Go Green Day’ was celebrated in the pre- primary wing on18th July, 2016 wherein children developed their visual and cognitive skills through a variety of activities. Children were dressed up in green t-shirt and blue jeans. Green corner was made in the classroom where all green coloured objects were displayed. Children were escorted to the school garden to enjoy the greenery. Children developed their visual and oratory skills through Show ‘n’ Tell activity. They merrily sang ‘Green Coloured grapes’ and ‘Hoppy hop, Green Frogy’ rhymes. Green day craft was done in the classes wherein Pre-Nursery and Nursery children made Green frogs and children of K.G. made tortoise crafts.
